Maria Omana has joined Solvere Living as Wellness Program Specialist

St. Petersburg, Florida – May 26, 2021 Maria Omana has joined Solvere Living, a management operations senior living company, as Wellness Program Specialist for its communities. She will assist Salus and Valeo directors by recommending creative programming ideas, engaging residents and educating on how to use resources like Fit Minds, Caremerge and OneDay. Previously, Maria was the Senior Salus Director at The Atrium in Boca Raton, an assisted living community.

“Maria has a genuine passion, love and desire to support residents in every stage of life to fulfill their purposes and bring them joy,” said Lorie Dancy, Solvere Living’s Chief Compliance and Wellness Officer. “She’s a people person, has a creative mind, the willingness and the spirit to engage residents in the most challenging situations.”

Maria started her career more than 10 years ago in recreational therapy and social work for children in Palm Beach County, Fla. She worked with the Children’s Services Council, Children’s Home Society, and the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office PAL Programs. She also worked with United Way focusing on two educational programs for children: School Readiness and a Teen Club for Palm Beach County west area high schools. Two years ago, she switched industries and began working in senior living, where she was able to capitalize on her structured programming, creativity and diversity skills.
